Our client; one of the top innovators in the field of pharmaceutical and medical products, have a vacancy due to an internal promotion, for a Medical Affairs Manager. This person will be based in their Indonesia office.
The Company
The client is a top ten pharma company, with a strong presence in APAC. They invest heavily in research and development with over 7000 people employed in the area of the business. They focus on 4 main therapeutic areas; cardiology, oncology, diagnostic imaging and women’s healthcare.
They can offer a dynamic fast paced environment; working alongside some very senior people with excellent industry experience the office has a diverse group of international employees. They would also be able to offer a fast track programme for excellent candidates who are determined to make to senior management roles. This would mean a heavy investment in training and development coupled with a structured career path.
The Role
The successful candidate will be reporting into the regional Medical Director
- Responable for a small team of medical associate’s who deal with monitoring the review of all activities related to commercial compliance reporting all potential breaches to the Medical Director.
- On the commercial side there will be responsibility for planning and controlling the budgets for the Medical Information Unit and providing the medical and scientific input into the therapeutic unit and marketing teams.
- Applicants must be a medical doctor
- Have a good understanding of the clinical process. Ideally they will have gained previous line managing experience in a small team.
